
By bus
Bruges has a good bus network, and bus is certainly the best way to move in town. Almost all buses terminate at the railway station, at the bus stop next to the information office of bus company De Lijn. (tel: 070 22 02 00;www.delijn.be ) . The majority of bus lines reach the main attractions and places of interest, such as the Markt, Wollestraat and Kuipersstraat.
The bus service operates every day from 05:30 until 23:00, with additional night buses on Friday and Saturday, reaching also the suburban area.

By car
The use of a car is not recommendable in Bruges, considering the narrow lanes and streets characterizing the Old Town, so the best thing is to park your vehicle in the suburban areas or at the car park of the railway station. The fare is 0.50 euro per hour, or € 2.50 for 24 hours, and includes a bus ticket for each passenger of the car, to reach the old town by public transport .

Taxi points are situated at the Markt or opposite the railway station.
